Meet Milo
Future Dog Therapy Companion
Meet Milo
Meet Milo, our adorable Maltipoo and future Dog Therapy companion!
Milo is currently in training and learning the skills needed to become a calm, gentle, and supportive presence in the therapy room. Once he has successfully completed his training and is ready, he will begin joining selected counselling sessions to help children, teens, and adults feel safe, connected, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.
Milo's role is to help create a warm, welcoming environment where clients can build trust, practice emotional regulation and co-regulation, reduce anxiety, and feel more comfortable engaging in therapy.

Fun Facts About Milo
As Milo continues his training, we'll share updates, milestones, and plenty of photos with our Sunny Spot families.
A gentle little Maltipoo
Hypoallergenic and low-shedding
Absolutely loves children and meeting new people
His favourite place is being cuddled, snuggled, or squished into cozy little spaces
Full of energy and loves to play, but because he's so little, he tires quickly and is always ready for a nap afterward
Knows fun tricks like Paw, High Five, Sit, and is always learning new ones
Greets children with a high five or paw at the start of a session, and says goodbye the same way, creating fun, predictable routines
Loves toys, treats, adventures, making people smile, and being part of the fun
